11 Pleasant View Road, Auckland (Former Mt Wellington - Panmure RSA)

Vishnu Fire Safety Ltd were engaged to carry out the fire safety design report for the proposed alterations and extensions to this building so as to convert it into a place of worship for the local Hare Krishna sect. The fire safety design was relatively straight forward and considering the history of this building, it was a unique project to work on.

A fit out was proposed on one of the mezzanine levels of this famous Wellington building and we were engaged to carry out the “means of escape from fire” assessment.

Station Hotel, Martinborough, Conversion of Upper Level Offices to 2 Flats

Vishnu Fire Safety Ltd was engaged to carry out a fire safety design report for this iconic building located in the heart of Martinborough. The proposed works involved conversion of the upper level offices into apartments. The fire safety design for this building had to be sensitive to the historic nature of this building.

 Rugby League Park, Newtown, Wellington

Vishnu Fire Safety Ltd carried out the fire safety design for the “home of Wellington Rugby” being the Rugby League Park stadium building in Newtown which underwent statutory earthquake strengthening in accordance with Section 112 of the Building Act 2004 during late 2012.

Conversion of House into 3 Flats, Seatoun, Wellington

 A “Change of Use” was proposed to this house so as to create 3 individual units. The project required working closely with the Architect so that the fire safety design could be incorporated into the architectural design.
